Monday, 21 September, 2026
Most missionary fundraising advice tells you to be everywhere. Mary Valloni makes the case for one platform instead, and it is probably not the one you would guess. This is for missionaries and ministry leaders raising support who are tired of posting into the void. Mary walks through why a private Facebook group outperforms a public page, where it sits next to your email list, and exactly how to build one. She also covers who this strategy is not for, including anyone serving in a closed nation. 1:24 - Why Facebook, and why pages stopped working 5:56 - Who this is not for, and why email comes first 7:47 - Where the private group fits 12:03 - Setting up your group, step by step 16:48 - How to get the right people in 19:39 - Recap Join our community:Fully Funded Academy.
