Sektor Informal: Bagaimana Nasib Pekerja Perempuan?

Informalitas pekerjaan menjadi tren yang nggak bisa dihindarkan. Selama pandemi, angka pekerja informal per Agustus 2020, khusunya di Jabodetabek terus mengalami peningkatan hingga mencapai 4,59%. Salah satu penyebab banyak anak muda yang memilih pindah ke sektor informal dikarenakan gelombang PHK karena terhentinya aktivitas ekonomi akibat pandemi. Sayangnya, informalitas pekerjaan nggak pernah disertai dengan jaminan sosial, perlindungan hak-hak pekerja dan akses terhadap layanan kesehatan. Padahal, segmentasi tenaga kerja informal di Indonesia masih lebih banyak (70,49 juta) dibandingkan sektor formal (56,02 juta). Kondisi pekerja informal, khususnya perempuan, secara teknis sangatlah rentan mengalami krisis dan pembiaran atas hak-haknya sebagai pekerja. Barengan sama Yuri Etika, kita bakal ngobrol-ngobrol soal situasi dan nasib pekerja perempuan di tengah pandemi.
