A general view of the Romanian reaction to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is a short summary of the general events, as we will focus on the details during the next episodes. Corruption and mismanagement are generally present, but a positive reaction can be felt on the part of the society and the private businesses. Although threatened by one of the deepest economic recessions in Europe, after the end of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Romanian entrepreneurs try to remain optimistic. Caught between a traditionalistic approach to politics and the very active left-wing progressives, Romania is struggling to find its path. Note: In the beginning, the 3% mentioned refers to estimated growth, not loss.
