And it is not just an environmental issue; it's a human issue, affecting every aspect of our lives from the air we breathe to the food we eat, and the stability of our economies and communities. As we navigate through the complexities of climate science, policy, and action, we are honored to be joined by a truly inspiring guest in this week's episode, activist Mitch Pope.Mitch is an environmental and climate activist who is currently using social media to try to spread awareness about the climate crisis, as well as being part of groups and coalitions advocating for an end to offshore oil and gas exploration in Australia. Mitch grew up in and around the ocean, surfing and diving, which has naturally progressed to a deep connection and love for the ocean and natural environmental, as well as an understanding of the need for us all to stand up and do more to protect this one planet we call home.
