Emory Douglas was the official artist of the Black Panther Party. His illustrations graced hundreds of issues of the Black Panther Party newspaper and appeared through revolutionary social movements throughout the globe. The New Museum recently mounted a retrospective of Douglas' work "Emory Douglas Black Panther" on view July 22 to October 18th.
