A re-release from several years ago in honour of World Scimitar-Horned Oryx Day.The scimitar-horned oryx is an antelope from the very dry regions of north Africa. They were once listed as 'extinct in the wild' and now – thanks to the conservation efforts – these animals have made a comeback.And in this episode we're meeting Brendan Walsh, zoo keeper at Dublin Zoo He spent time in north Africa studying this animal.
