Current exports have reportedly recovered to about 40 percent of their previous capacity through routes such as the Turkish port of Ceyhan.Despite these disruptions, officials say Iraq’s public finances remain capable of handling the pressure due to the balance between oil prices and export volumes.If the conflict lasts longer than expected, the government could consider limited domestic borrowing supported by the Central Bank of Iraq through liquidity measures similar to quantitative easing.At the same time, Iraq is working to strengthen non-oil revenue through improved tax collection and broader economic reforms.Government officials also say the country has large reserves of food and essential goods to maintain stability during the crisis.For now, Iraqi leaders believe the current regional conflict may be resolved within four months, and they say protecting the financial stability of Iraqi families remains the government’s top priority.Thanks for Watching!
