ARVO/RWC Updates: nAMD, DME/DR, RVO Treatments
Sunday, 31 May, 2026
Second-generation anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) therapies approved for the management of neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD), diabetic macular edema (DME), and retinal vein occlusion (RVO) continue to be evaluated in ongoing clinical and real-world studies. Findings from these studies provide additional insights to guide the incorporation of these therapies into clinical practice, with the goal of enhancing visual and anatomic outcomes while reducing treatment burden in patients with retinal diseases. Although keeping up to date with emerging data can be challenging, doing so is essential for the optimal integration of second-generation anti-VEGF therapies into patient care. In this CE activity, experts in the field evaluate recent clinical evidence on approved second-generation anti-VEGF therapies to inform the management of treatment naive and previously treated patients with retinal diseases.
