Renowned for his mastery of the button accordion and his deep commitment to preserving traditional Newfoundland music, Mark was an outstanding artist - known as a fine singer, brillian multi-instrumentalist and producer. He was also known as a songwriter with a knack for telling stories and keeping the rich history of the province alive through song. Mark was a co-founder of the iconic band “Shanneyganock”, whose contributions spanned over three decades, leaving an indelible mark on the province’s cultural landscape.
