S02.E07 - JEFFERY HOBBS / SLOW BONE BBQ
Wednesday, 25 March, 2026

I am interviewing Chef, Jeffery Hobbs, owner of Slow Bone BBQ. Located at 2234 Irving Blvd, Dallas, Texas. www.slowbonebbq.com / Instagram @slowbonebbq I chat with Jeffery about his early days being a line chef, the things he learned along the way and what makes his BBQ so darn delicious! Slow Bone is hands down my favorite bbq in Dallas! I’ve been enjoying their delicious BBQ for about 6 years now BUT they have been serving Texas-style BBQ since 2013. They smoke all of their meats on-site daily in a smoker they call Miss Jessie. Some of the daily meats on the menu are: Smoked brisket, Pulled Pork, Pork Ribs, Beef Ribs ,Turkey Breast, Smoked Chicken andBlack Pepper Hickory Sausage & Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage. Just to name a few. Oh, I can’t forget the chicken-licious sandwich. Every morning they make more than a dozen hot and cold sides from scratch. Including, brisket beans, Horseradish Potato Salad, chili Mac, and several other chef-driven favorites like sweet potato praline, Bonnie's Squash Casserole and Granny High's Pea Salad. Slow Bone BBQ is open daily, 11am-3pm, M-F.
