Episode 10
Sunday, 10 October, 2021
Welcome to The Hustle - The Struggle Investment Podcast. We're finally ending Season One with episode ten, "Social and Economic Disparities with Investing." Lead host Herbert and a featured guest Carina, recorded in the Bay Area, discuss the disparities of finance within the community, segue towards black communities. They discuss how limited resources align with the lack of community. Also, they talk about the façade of investing and the importance of saving. "Money is meant to be spent," which is commonly encouraged; however, the money saved and leftover after death is one's financial legacy giving back to their community or family, which is undermined in contemporary terms to modern lifestyle. The two dive deep into the social issue of knowing investing, the privilege to invest, lack of industries, exploitation, and so forth. A dynamic talk and a great way to end Season One expounding on community development issues in investing. Original recording, August 7th, 2021
