Outskirts of Lima, Peru. 28 children from the American School of Lima were touring the area before going missing. In a search spanning weeks, the Peruvian Police discover that a gang called 'Huerfanos De La Revolución (Orphans of the revolution) is holding the children hostage, seeking to move them to their stronghold in the jungles from where they could demand a hefty ransom from the Peruvian Government and from the United States. A knee-jerk reaction from the Police endangers what seemed to be a fool-proof plan, changing everything. Then kidnappers do something that derails their plan too. Forced to flee from the Peruvian army, they take the children with them deeper and deeper into the jungles, unconscious of where they were heading. That's where the children realize that their captors aren't the only terror here. Thrust into a terrifying fight for survival, the kids are forced to run for their lives and find help before they are killed either by the kidnappers or the greater evil that lurks in the dark.
