Comedians John Marshall and Scott Blakeman take a look back at an important moment in time for the comedy world, and their careers. For a few months in 1998, they performed on virtually every show at the Monkey's Paw on Christopher Street in Manhattan. Comedian and activist Randy Credico started the backroom comedy show, and usually was the unconventional host. The lineups included Lewis Black, Colin Quinn and many more high profile New York based comedians. John and Scott pay particular attention to Monkey's Paw regular, Dan Vitale, a comedian John considers his mentor, and "the funniest comedian I've ever met."
