As a child, Rama was happily playing and enjoying his time in Ayodhya.One day, Surya (the Sun God) came to see little Rama. He was so mesmerized by Rama’s beauty, innocence, and divine charm that he kept watching him continuously.Days passed… but Surya Bhagavan didn’t want to leave.He stayed longer and longer—almost as if time had stopped—just to keep seeing Rama.Because Surya remained in the sky for so long, Chandra (the Moon God) could not appear at all.So, for many days—almost like a whole month—there was no night, only daylight…All because Surya was lost in devotion, watching little Rama play.
