Author: Bux

Neapolitan, graduated in Double Bass at the Conservatory of Naples, a Master in Digital Writing at the Faculty of Educational Sciences of Florence and graduated in Electroacoustic Musical Composition at the Conservatory of Benevento, he is strongly attracted by the possibilities of interchange of codes and their distinctive and transversal constituent elements . The research areas focus on the interactions between Visual and Sound Art and push towards a study aimed at the relationships between phonemes, signs, perception and environment in a holistic and minimalist direction. There are numerous performances and installations in which he participates with a wide versatility between cultures, styles and artistic models and in which he operates on multiple levels of interest: compositional, planning, didactic; between exchanges of thoughts and actions shared with artists and creatives.

Spiral
Tuesday, 23 December, 2025

Spiral was born from a simple, almost distracted gesture: a spiral drawn with a pen on a sheet of paper. That imperfect and repetitive mark became the conceptual starting point for a composition entirely created in the digital domain and developed as a circular, constantly evolving process. The sound follows the motion of the spiral, returning to itself without ever being the same, expanding and contracting while always retaining a memory of its origin. The piece was also conceived in relation to a visual dimension, where the drawing is not only an inspiration but a structural element, and the graphic gesture is translated into time, frequency, and sonic density. Spiral explores the relationship between gesture and form, repetition and variation, control and release, inviting the listener into an experience that does not move in a straight line but through successive approaches, like a motion that turns and slowly transforms.
