कुछ गीत, फ़िल्में, क़िरदार ऐसे होते हैं जिन्हें हम जब सुनते या देखते हैं, तभी उनसे जुड़ जाते हैं। हमारी फ़िल्मों के गीत इतनी ख़ूबसूरती से फ़िल्माए और लिखे जाते हैं कि किरदारों के मन, उनकी भावनाओं एवं संवादों को इन गीतों के ज़रिये आसानी से महसूस किया जा सकता है। हिंदी लिट्रेरी एसोसिएशन लेकर आया है 'बातें' का पाँचवा कथांश जिसमें हमने ऐसी ही एक फ़िल्म 'तमाशा' के गीत 'अगर तुम साथ हो' के पीछे छिपे फ़िल्म के दो किरदारों 'वेद' और 'तारा' की भावनाओं को बताने की कोशिश की है। इस गीत के लेखक इरशाद कामिल जी हैं और इसे आवाज़ दी है अरिजीत सिंह ने।
