Introduction!! Hey, Everyone! This is a podcast about stuff that very few people actually like talking about but I have no pedestal and nothing to lose so I decided to talk about it ALL. THE. TIME! So what are we talking about? Culture Shock is a lot of things - newsletter, podcast, video series - but more than that, it’s a dialectic. Our mission is to delve into the interdisciplinary study of our culture as it relates to politics and esthetics. Culture begins where art and politics intersect, and I believe we can heal as a society when we start to have this conversation in earnest. This podcast is dedicated to representation. How is media crafted? How are stories told? How is it presented? And how does it all affect us? I am really big on community projects. I am doing this because I enjoy it and it’s how I learn and process the world around me, but I also want this to be for you.
