The Stone Independent School, a progressive high school in downtown Lancaster, officially opened its doors in August in 2017. It's a collaborative effort of teachers who believe in the agency of their students, and wanted a new kind of school that focused on learning by doing. Now, we're actually doing it. In this inaugural episode, students at the Stone Independent school present some questions to Ismael Smith Wade-el, newly elected city council member of Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
