The Whitney Museum of American Art Biennial 2026, the 82nd edition of the longest running survey of contemporary art in the United States, brings together 56 artists, duos, and collectives in a wide ranging snapshot of today’s art world. Curated by Marcela Guerrero and Drew Sawyer, alongside contributions from Beatriz Cifuentes and Carina Martinez, the exhibition leans away from a single defining theme and instead explores relationships between people, technology, history, and environment through a diverse and global lens.
