In the fifth episode of Peace in a Pod, we sit down with the Ombudsman for the United Nations Funds and Programmes, Mr. Giuseppe De Palo. Giuseppe helps prevent and resolve work disputes within a variety of UN bodies. He talks to us about Third-Party Mediation and his work in it. Third-party mediation is where an external, neutral mediator is appointed mutually by disputing parties. The idea here is that a third-party will help find common ground and options for a peaceable settlement.
