7 years alcohol free
Episode 264
Friday, 5 December, 2025

Want to tell me something? Send me a text!I share my journey with alcohol, drinking it and not drinking it and the life I have now without if for 7 years. I share what it was like growing up in Russia and in a family that doesn’t drink, what it was like I Canada as a teenager and then my ‘drinking’ career lol in Canada in my 20s and then into motherhood and really not liking being that mom who wanted wine with dinner every night. At 36 I realized I don’t ever have to drink and that I love this new me, new identity of someone who just chooses to never drink ! And never looked back, the best decision I have ever made! Up there with marrying my husband and deciding to have lots of kids ! Jackie from Intermittent Fasting Foodie has inspired me to try OMAD or eating one meal a day and i am loving it so far!Gin Stephens is the other awesome lady who inspired both of us, check out her book Delay, Don't Deny and her other book
