Sunday, November 20th, 2022 @ Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles California Elton John took the stage for his final show in North America, on his final tour. It was a long journey getting there but I managed to attend and I want to tell you all about the live show, as well as rewatching the recording from Disney+. Elton John is iconic. He is a legend in the music industry and a name everyone knows. He is a wizard on the ivories and wordsmith for the ages. To see him perform even once was an experience and a memory that will live with me forever. “It’s been 50 years of touring the United States, across all 50 states. This is my seventh concert here at Dodger Stadium. Tonight is the 271st show of the Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour and my 103rd show in the Los Angeles area” - Elton John At the time of this episode being recorded it is still available on Disney+. 2 hours and 33 minutes of awesomeness that I highly recommend you check out even if you are not a huge Elton John fan. The audio is the direct feed from the soundboard with the crowd mixed in inbetween songs so it’s not like you are listening to something recorded on someone’s iphone.
