As an Italian minor and lifelong soccer fan, the experience felt full circle—blending academic interests with everyday immersion in Italian culture. While abroad, Hudson interned with Parma Calcio 1913, gaining firsthand exposure to the sport he’s followed for years. Outside the classroom and internship, he spent much of his time biking through Parma, exploring the city, and experiencing daily life in Italy at a slower, more local pace.
