Crossroads - P
Episode 56
Monday, 28 September, 2026
Connect with me here in text… tell me where you are listening. You can memorise Proverbs 3:5-6 and still feel stuck at the same crossroads, asking God for a map while your inner world stays loud, anxious, and bruised. We wrestle with a different idea of Christian guidance: God often deals with the one who walks the road before he points to the road itself. If you’ve been praying for direction about a decision, a calling, a relationship, or what comes next, this message invites you to look beneath the question and notice what’s happening in your heart. We share a raw story from clinical pastoral education that exposes how fear, depression, loneliness, and self-talk can hijack spiritual discernment. Along the way, we lay out four levels of conversation: chitchat, conversation, counseling, and holy ground. Holy ground is not a mood or a moment. It is an encounter with God that actually changes us, even when the setting looks ordinary. The turning point is simple but demanding: you cannot surrender what you refuse to acknowledge. Trusting God with all your heart includes the afraid part, the angry part, the questioning part, and the resistant part. Acknowledging him in all your ways means giving Jesus access to the patterns you live by, not just the parts you want to show. Crossroads becomes a powerful definition for spiritual formation: the place where your life and the cross intersect, and honesty makes room for transformation. If this resonates, listen all the way through and share it with someone who’s carrying a heavy decision.
