WE ARE LIVE FROM PHILLY PODFEST FOR OUR 100TH-ish EPISODE!!! Well, really last week, but either way it was a great fucking time. For The Recasting Couch's 100th-ish episode and live debut we recast Independence Day from Tattooed Mom (@tmoms). We somehow keep the podcast to less than an hour (or not, depending on how long our intro segment is), but we were super psyched to take the show live and a good time was had by all. Some highlights include Mike pegging the crowd with hard candy, me doing a speech in the style of Al Pacino (apparently), and a touch of mutiny from the crowd. This was the biggest movie on the planet (or off of it?....) in 1996. Starring Will Smith at his absolute Will Smithiest. Jeff Goldblum just blumin' it up. Judd Hirsch just being Judd. It's the rare movie where everyone involved hits their stride at the same time. Bill Pullman actually comes off as a halfway decent actor. There's something magical about this movie and we attempt to recreate it in front of all y'all. Thanks for the continued support everyone!
