Anchored in the Unchanging Supremacy of Christ

In a world marked by constant change, shifting expectations, and personal storms, this opening message in the Anchored series centers our faith on the unchanging supremacy of Jesus Christ. Drawing from Hebrews 1, Rev. Terence Gray invites us to see Jesus not merely as a helper in difficult moments, but as the eternal Son who receives the honor, bears the names, shares the attributes, and performs the works of God Himself. When everything else feels unstable, Hebrews reminds us that Christ alone is worthy to anchor our lives—because He sustains all things by His powerful word and reigns forever at the right hand of the Father. This sermon calls listeners to rest their fears, failures, hopes, and futures in hands strong enough to hold them. Rather than being defined by the storms we face, we are invited to remember who defines us: a faithful Father who speaks, sustains, and leads us through every trial.
