PA-S, FML: Inside PA School, from a Real PA Student with stories, studying, and advice.Author: PA Kay
A behind-the-scenes look at PA school training by an actual PA student, as well as some sweet panic studying as I prepare to take my PANCE in Aug/Sept of 2019. Each episode, I'll share with you an inside look at what PA training actually feels like, including tips about how to survive your first year, stories from clinical year, and occasionally some interviews with my classmates about their didactic & clinical years. Basically, this is a podcast about things I wish I knew before starting PA school. And did I mention the panic studying? Also that. EP 15: Things I wish I had known: Clinical Year
Episode 15
Saturday, 12 October, 2019
Last time we left off, PA Kay had just taken her boards. This episode, she has an update for you on that, including what she's been up to since then (spoiler: it has *not* included being employed and earning a paycheck like a real adult. Whoops). If you're just here for the "Things I wish I had known" segment (it's fine, we're still cool), skip ahead to roughly minute 20, where PA Kay gives some good advice about how to be a star student while out on clinical rotations, without looking like a douchebag. Finally, a few more pearls about clinical year that PA Kay wishes she had known, and a (almost) goodbye.
