Don't Talk Politics at the Dinner Table - With JonAuthor: Jon Rocha
We have more in common that unites us, than divides us. I invite two guests to share their opposing viewpoints of contentious political beliefs. The idea is not to change another's mind or convince them to 'change sides' but that in the discourse of uncomfortable conversation, we find a common thread that unites us. Using the old phrase "We dont talk politics or religion at the Dinner Table", I dismiss the idea and instead, cook a new dinner each episode for our guests to sit, eat, laugh, enjoy each other's company, but more importantly to learn, listen, and speak respectfully of their views.
