For years, I tried to break free from my infidelity in all the wrong ways. I tried by sheer willpower, I tried reading my Bible more, and I even considered joining a 12-step program. None of it worked. I finally realized that if I was going to find true freedom in my life, I needed to let Jesus heal some deep wounds in my heart. Through prayer, a whole lot of research, and developing new healthy habits, I was finally able to find healing to shed my shame once and for all. I learned I could choose to leave the affair behind. I could choose to pursue my own emotional healing and growth, no matter if my marriage survived or not. I could create new healthy habits that would move me forward in confidence, with strength and dignity. And I am SO ready to share what Ive learned with you! If you are ready to finally find your true self in Christ, Experience ultimate freedom from your bondage, Feel authentic connection without the secrets, And move forward with strength and dignity, Then find your safe space and pop in those earbuds. Im about to show you that intimacy

104 | Why Healing Suddenly Feels Lonely And What To Do About It
Tuesday, 24 February, 2026

Healing can feel unexpectedly lonely once the crisis passes and life returns to “normal.” Today, I talk honestly about the quiet middle season of recovery. When you’re functioning again but still healing, still tender, and wondering who you’re supposed to talk to now. I share my own experience of navigating that loneliness, why healing doesn’t end after things change, and why community is essential (not optional!) in this season. We explore: Why loneliness often shows up after things calm down The gap many women feel in affair recovery resources Why journaling and prayer matter but aren’t meant to replace safe relationships How God provides “daily manna” for healing, not the full map at once If you’re craving a place where you don’t have to rush or pretend you’re “over it,” I’d love to connect with you. You’re not meant to heal alone, and you don’t have to anymore 🤍 --- Let’s Connect: Facebook community: www.facebook.com/groups/intimacyafterinfidelity  Instagram: www.instagram.com/kristinajoycoaching Email: kristina@kristinajoycoaching.com Let’s work together: www.kristinajoycoaching.com
