Abdullah Al BuajanAuthor: Muslim Central
Abdullah Al Buajan, also spelled Abdullah Al-Buayjaan or Abdullah Al-Buaijan, is a prominent Saudi Quran reciter, imam, and preacher. He was born in 1399AH (1979CE) in Saudi Arabia. He earned his Bachelors degree in Sharia from Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University and completed his Masters and doctoral studies in Islamic judiciary from the Higher Institute of Judiciary. He holds Ijzahs in the Hafs riwyah granted by noted scholars like Sheikh Ibrahim Al Dosari and Sheikh Abdulhakim Al-Khater. He began serving as an imam and Khateeb at Bowardi Mosque in Riyadh before being appointed as an Imam of the Prophets Mosque in Medina in 1434AH (2013CE), by royal decree. Abdullah Al Buajan is also a lecturer in the Faculty of Humanitarian and Legal Studies at Al-Kharj, affiliated with King Saud University, and previously taught at the Ministry of Education. His murattal-style recitations in the Hafs riwyah include complete surahs such as Al-Ftiah, Al-Anfl, Ynus, Hud, Ysuf, Ar-Rad, Ibrhm, Al-Kahf, Maryam, and T-H. His delivery is characterized by clear Tajwd, measured pacing, and a reflective tone, earning him international respect among listeners and Quran students.
