Statement of Need Despite the availability of safe and effective vaccines, pediatricians and clinicians continue to encounter significant vaccine hesitancy among caregivers, which can lead to suboptimal immunization rates and increased risk of preventable diseases. This podcast will provide key information for providers on the causes of vaccine hesitancy and how to address with parents. In that it is a podcast, it will be a discussion with the guest and moderator. Objectives Define pediatric vaccine hesitancy and describe its impact on public health. Discuss key factors that contribute to vaccine hesitancy. Describe effective communication strategies to address parental concerns to improve vaccine confidence in pediatric care.
