E64: 30 Years Ago Today My Life Changed Forever: The Pain and Power of the Pivot On September 23rd, 1993, my day started out pretty amazing. It was a beautiful sunny day, I ran one of the fastest times in my high school cross-country career and was finally able to do a split in martial arts. The day may have started out that way, but it ended very differently. A horrific car accident that evening changed just about every plan I had at 17 years old. But from pain and struggle...comes growth. This episode shares my personal story that leads back to exactly 30 years ago to the day.
