Find your peopleThe one truth that we need to accept aboutlife is that even when you find ‘your people’, those people are not going tostay with you forever. Because sometimes you find those once-in-a-lifetimepeople — you know, the ones with rough edges and messysouls and the biggest heart you've ever seen. People who take your hand andhold it as tight as they can to remind you that they won't let go. People whocan make you come undone in every shade of the sun. People who mean it whenthey say that they’re here for you. Because sometimesyou can find those once-in-a-lifetime people — the oneswho make you laugh when you're in tears, and dance under the rain, the ones whofill your bucket with so much happiness that you don't know what to do with it — and yet they still leave. You still lose them. You still growapart. You still fall apart. You still move on without them. You still end upwalking on your path alone. Until you find new people. New once-in-a-lifetimeindividuals who will change you, love you, and tire your bones out with newadventures, and give you forever memories to take forward with you. That's justhow it is. Because life is constantly evolving, and people are never forever.Because even though we wish it didn't — 'your people’ often means ‘your people at thatmoment in your life' and nothing more.
