Karine Duplan est géographe à l'Université de Genève. Ses axes de recherche portent sur la dimension spatiale des inégalités et des privilèges dans un but de justice sociale. Elle s’intéresse à la production des inégalités liées au genre et aux sexualités ainsi qu’aux exclusions que cela produit. Son récit montre comment l'on vit à Genève lorsque l'on se situe en dehors de l'hétéronormativité. Il est en lien avec ses recherches qui mettent en avant des moyens d'action de façon à produire des espaces moins oppressifs et plus accueillants, pour tou·te·s·x. - Karine Duplan is a geographer at the University of Geneva. Her research focuses on the spatial dimension of inequalities and privileges with a view to social justice. She is interested in the production of inequalities linked to gender and sexuality as well as the exclusions that this produces. Her story shows how one lives in Geneva when one is outside of heteronormativity. It is linked to her research which highlights ways of working to produce less oppressive and more welcoming spaces for all.
