I've heard christianty is cool all the sudden! as a former christian and current spiritually-focused, jesus-loving, history-and-truth-seeking person, I wanted to share some perspectives to look out for as many of us seek out god, truth, and all-powerful loving perspectives to remedy all of the pain and struggles each of us face. Please note, my experience within christianity has been layered, complex, and full of pain. While parts of this may sound bitter or intense, i want to make it clear i am always excited and hope-filled when i hear about people pursuing faith, spirituality, and god. My intention with this episode is to encourage responsibility, love, accountability within the faith systems we are being encouraged to explore in our current societal structures, and to encourage my neighbors to be thoughtful and think critically as we all look for god.
