Secretary of State Kris Warner has officially launched the West Virginia Certified Veteran-Owned Business Program, giving qualifying businesses the opportunity to earn state certification and display an official designation recognizing their service and entrepreneurship. Leaders say the program honors veterans while helping promote businesses that continue serving their communities long after their military careers end. West Virginia became the 15th state to establish a certified veteran-owned business program.
