Apologizing to kids

As cycle breakers, we are going to mess up. it's inevitable because it is a continual learning process on this journey of learning to parent differently. Which is OKAY you have no reason to feel shame over mess-ups. Mistakes are how we learn. but we do have to make things right with our kids when we mess up. In this episode, I talk about the importance of apologizing to our kids and what we are teaching them when we do. I also discuss how to properly apologize and how we can avoid the common pitfalls of ineffective apologies.
