The Sounding of the Seventh Trumpet
Wednesday, 28 October, 2026
This sermon explores the theological significance of the seventh trumpet sounding in Revelation, marking the transition to the final phase of God's judgment and the establishment of His eternal kingdom. The message highlights three distinct scenes in heaven: the rejoicing of the elders who worship God for His perpetual and powerful rule, the impending recompense where the wicked are judged and the saints are rewarded, and the revelation of God's temple which signifies the acceptance of the redeemed and the assurance of His covenant with Israel. The preacher emphasizes that while earthly empires rise and fall, Christ's kingdom is everlasting, offering comfort to believers amidst temporary afflictions. The tone is both convicting and encouraging, urging listeners to secure their eternal destiny by trusting in Christ before it is too late, as the final judgment will separate the redeemed from the lost with no middle ground.
