John Vlismas #14
Wednesday, 4 March, 2020

Not only is John Vlismas funny as hell, but he is intelligent, driven, enthusiastic about live, family and business, but more importantly he wants to teach people what he has learned through his life and his mistakes. John Talks to me about atheism, drugs, and how he has stepped away from stand up comedy and re-invented himself in a totally different career. John Vlismas is a South African stand-up comedian and entertainment promoter, John won the 2007 South African Comedy Award for best stand-up comedian of the year and was a finalist in the 2008 Yuk Yuk's Great Canadian Laugh Off. In 2010, John was in the comedy film Outrageous with fellow South African comedians, Barry Hilton, Joey Rasdien, Loyiso Gola, Mark Banks, Riaad Moosa, and Krijay Govender - the only female in the cast.
