Hold the PatternCan you trust the Church to give you the truth. Author: Dr. Jack Graham and Jeremiah Johnston, PhD
Can you trust the Church to give you the truth? Hold the Pattern is where the hard questions of faith get honest, credible answers. Each week, Dr. Jack Graham, a pastor of fifty years, and Jeremiah Johnston, PhD, a working scholar, sit down with the scholars, pastors, athletes, and cultural voices shaping the moment and dig into what Scripture says. Apologetics, culture, the local church, and what is true anymore: nothing is off the table, and no answer is left vague. This is biblical truth you can hold onto and pass on, carried by two generations who refuse to water it down. The name is our charge, from Paul to Timothy: hold on to the pattern of sound teaching (2 Timothy 1:13). If you believe but hunger for depth, and are tired of not knowing whom to trust, this is your show. New conversations every Monday. Hold the Pattern. Freedom Is Not a Formula | Allen Parr
Episode 4
Monday, 19 October, 2026
Allen Parr built a ten-year YouTube ministry teaching Christians to spot false doctrine by knowing the real thing cold, the way a teller spots a counterfeit bill by studying genuine currency. Jack Graham and Jeremiah Johnston, PhD run that method against tongues-as-salvation, the prosperity gospel, and Christian manifestation, then turn personal: Parr was single until 40 because of a "soul chain" he did not know he was carrying, and Graham answers the hardest question in the room, why some of the godliest people die young, with his own father's murder at 56.Books:Breaking Through: How Ordinary Believers Experience Extraordinary Freedom, Allen Parr, Nelson Books, 2026Misled: 7 Lies That Distort the Gospel and How to Discern the Truth, Allen ParrPeople referenced:Jennifer Parr, Allen Parr's wife, married in 2015Joshua Broome, friend of Parr's, former pornography-industry performer turned minister; met his wife Hope, they attend Hope Church and lead Hope MinistriesCharlie Kirk, the late Turning Point USA founder, discussed at lengthKathryn Krick, self-styled "Apostle Kathryn Krick," named by Parr as an example of prosperity-gospel and false-prophecy teachingWebsites and links:allenparr.comyoutube.com/@thebeatagpBook - https://link.amazon/B0eS3KuVoTikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@allenparrInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/allengparrFacebook - https://www.facebook.com/allengparrX - https://x.com/allengparrLinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/allenparr ★ Support this podcast ★
