A Petersfield resident shares a traditional Ukrainian soup recipe

Iva Repnytska, offered to share her Ukrainian recipe for borscht with Shine Radio's Recipe queen Noni Needs. Iva said: "My borscht is loved by my British friends and my future British husband. Want to try it?" So Noni went along to her home to meet her and taste borscht cooked to a traditional family recipe. Borscht is a Ukrainian soup made from chopped beets, cabbage, potatoes, and other vegetables, and is a symbol of Ukrainian cuisine and culture. As a symbol of culture, borscht is not just a dish, but part of Ukrainian traditions, a symbol of abundance and hospitality, said Iva Repnytska. It has dozens of variations, including the most popular red borscht, green, and cold versions.
