HIV remains underdiagnosed among men in many settings, contributing to ongoing transmission. When women seek care during pregnancy, there is an opportunity to reach out to their partners. Home-based couples testing and counselling can help to identify HIV and discuss other health issues. In this podcast, we look at a trial comparing lay counsellor delivered couples-based HIV testing with distributions of self-test kits, and standard of care in Kenya.
