Zeitgeist with Zack Geist

Author: Zack Geist

A bold attempt to impregnate life with greater meaning and sacredness through a sea of resonant voices. Through this technology we aim to create a virtual field using dialogue and inquiry to harbinger greater compassion and understanding among our earthly kin. We aim to create a virtual bridge of consciousness away from loneliness into a greater sense of feeling at home in the world.

Welcome to Animacy: Reclaiming Aliveness in a Living Cosmos
Episode 1
Friday, 1 May, 2026

In this introductory episode, Zack Geist welcomes listeners to Animacy and shares the deeper intention behind the project. He reflects on why he stepped away from podcasting, what called him back, and how years of living in community at Rainbow Bridge in Hawaii shaped the vision for this new offering. Zack introduces animacy as the degree of aliveness, agency, and relationship present in all things, and explores themes that will guide the podcast: healing, dreams, lucid consciousness, plant intelligence, spirituality, money, community, intimacy, restorative justice, and the transformation of culture. This episode sets the tone for Animacy as an invitation to live more fully, relate more deeply, and participate consciously in the world we are creating.
