Time Under Tension - Logan Schwartz
Tuesday, 11 February, 2025
In the final episode of our 3rd season, Coach Tim sits down with Clinical Assistant Professor Logan Schwartz of the University of Texas. Logan teaches in the Kinesiology Department and has had several coaching positions in college, professional, and the private strength training worlds. In this interview, we discuss the college students that he works with and the challenges they face in deciding the professional field they wish to enter after graduation. While the education he provides them is extremely important, the bulk of our discussion is centered on helping students develop the softer skills of interpersonal professions like coaching and physical therapy. Recognizing that students need to learn how to communicate effectively and to be able to empathize with others is actually more important than what they learn in books. A great chat that will help incoming freshman and their parents get a better look at how great college professors are teaching these days.
