He is a Driftless Area transplant who now resides in the prairies of South Dakota and is a die hard bird hunter. Die hard would be and understatement as in his '24-'25 pheasant hunting season he bagged 159 roosters! Jake shares tips on hunting throughout the season, what he has learned in his position with South Dakota GFP, and why his position is so important to the health of the pheasant population
