This move comes months after President Michael Winger praised Jamila Wideman on the job she was doing with the team. Winger in January: “I think our roster is a testament to the work that she’s done. She’s made a lot of trades. She drafted really really well. She’s assembled a team that loves playing together and they have a lot of versatility that they can lean on moving forward. I know she’s working her tail off to scout for this upcoming draft. I’m very, very pleased with job that Jamila’s done this first year.” This is a public episode.
