Prawns khichdi is a rice preparation from Maharashtra which is also called as ‘Kolambi Bhaat’ in the Marathi language. It is similar to preparing pulav where first spices are mixed with prawns & then the rice is added at a later stage of the cooking. Khichdi is quick and easy to make in busy households & each community have their unique version of it.
