How To Handle When You're Not "Fine"
Thursday, 9 April, 2026
How to handle when you're not "fine" Host Meagan Fitzgerald, certified life coach, Pilates/Sculpt/Barre instructor, and studio owner, welcomes you back to the Resting Bliss Space Podcast. She shares a quick life and business update, including her shift to releasing episodes every other week as she navigates an exciting season of growth. Meagan kicks things off with a light pop culture moment, sharing her thoughts on the latest Summer House relationship buzz involving West Wilson and Amanda Batula, and, of course, her honest reaction. From there, she moves into the heart of the episode: a powerful lesson inspired by a real-life "momming" moment. After witnessing a mother repeatedly tell her nauseous daughter "you're fine," Meagan reflects on how often we unintentionally dismiss emotions, both in others and ourselves. She explores the importance of validating feelings, helping people (especially kids) feel seen and heard, and using grounding phrases like "I hear you" and "nothing has gone wrong." She then brings this lesson inward, encouraging listeners to notice their own tendencies to downplay stress, grief, sickness, or exhaustion. Instead of brushing things off, Meagan invites you to name what you're feeling and allow yourself to receive support. She shares a touching example of holding space for a client navigating deep family grief, highlighting how meaningful it is to simply be witnessed. To wrap up, Meagan gives a peek into what's ahead, launching a more coaching-focused Instagram for added privacy, expanding her coaching offerings, and partnering with skincare brand Atmosphera as part of a new social selling venture.
