From the manufacturer's side, most failures come down to installation conditions and subfloor prep, not the product. We get into why Saskatchewan's humid summers and dry, cold winters make following the installation instructions so important, and which subfloors work under glue-down LVP. Plywood is best, OSB is suitable when sanded and patched, and particle board isn't recommended. We also cover what a flooring warranty actually covers (manufacturing defects with replacement product, usually not labour) and why your choice of retailer matters when something goes wrong. Then we look at what's driving prices right now, including tariffs, fuel and freight, and why quotes are only good for 30 days.
