COP27 was held in Sharm El-Sheik in November this year, and has already faded from the news cycle. In this reflective discussion, Emma is joined by Professors Ben Cashore and Navroz K Dubash, both of whom attended the meeting as observers. Ben and Navroz reflect on their experiences at the meeting, changing political narratives, on outcomes (or otherwise), and what it might all mean for the future of climate negotiations and action. Professor Ben Cashore is the Li Ka Shing Professor in Public Management and Director, Institute for Environment and Sustainability (IES) at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy at the National University of Singapore.Professor Navroz K Dubash works at the Centre for Policy Research, where he conducts research and writes on climate change, energy, air pollution, water policy, and the politics of regulation in the developing world.This episode is a recording of a live webinar held on Thursday, 1 December. The event was hosted by the EU Centre of Excellence at RMIT and the Institute for Environment and Sustainability at the National University of Singapore.
